Frequently asked questions

AiGo is two separate apps: AiGo for booking rides as a passenger, and AiGo Driver for accepting trips as a driver. Each has its own download on Google Play — get both from our download page. A phone number that's registered as a driver can still use the passenger app to book rides, but the two apps are installed and signed into separately.
Open the AiGo app, set your pickup location on the map, and choose a vehicle type using the icon at the top left — tuk tuk, motorbike, sedan, SUV, or van. Nearby available taxis of that type show up on the map; tap one to book. The driver gets a request and can accept or decline.
AiGo doesn't calculate fares in the app. Your driver uses their vehicle's physical meter, exactly as normal — you pay the driver directly at the end of the trip. There are no in-app payments or hidden booking fees.
Yes — once you've set a destination, toggle "Ask for a quotation" instead of booking directly. You can send a quotation request to up to 3 nearby taxis at once (up to 3 an hour, 5 a day); each driver proposes their own price, and you accept whichever quote you like. Accepting one automatically cancels the rest and books that trip at the agreed price. If a driver doesn't respond within the usual response window, that request simply expires so you can try another taxi.
If a driver declines your request, they're temporarily hidden from your map for a few minutes so you can quickly find another nearby taxi instead. They'll reappear for you automatically after that — and other passengers can still see and book them the whole time.
Download the separate AiGo Driver app, register with your phone number, then add your vehicle details and upload your profile photo and driving license for review. Once an admin verifies your documents, you can go online and start receiving booking requests.
Tokens are a shared credit balance across all of a driver's vehicles in the AiGo Driver app, spent to upgrade a vehicle's daily plan from Free to Light or Ultra for more trips that day. You're granted an initial batch when you register your first vehicle, and admins can top up your balance anytime. See every top-up, spend, and transfer under Profile > Token History.
A Taxi Group lets a small team of drivers support each other. The owner invites other drivers by phone number, confirmed with a one-time code the invited driver reads back to them. Once the group has enough members, any member can transfer tokens directly to a teammate — handy for topping someone up. Find it under Profile > Taxi Group in the AiGo Driver app.
No — you can browse nearby taxis as a guest. You'll only need to sign in with your phone number when you're ready to book a ride.
